| European Poker Tour Berlin has just been robbed by six gunmen with machine guns. It is alleged that they have made off with less than a million Euros from the poker tournament. One of the guards was injured trying to capture one of the robbers. It seems everyone is okay except for the guard who was injured in the head. Panic and chaos ensued throughout the tournament as seen in the video below. EPT Statement There has been an armed robbery today at the EPT Berlin. No one is hurt seriously. We hope to be able to determine the tournament record by 16 clock time again. The police. If you have photos or video recordings that can assist the police, then please contact as soon as the organizers of the EPT. In my opinion, the tournament should be delayed until tomorrow. Apparently they are going to resume play today. I find it hard to believe that the poker players can be expected to resume play after a traumatic experience like this. Some of the players most likely thought it was a terrorist attack and scrambled to take cover. "An armed robbery by six men took place today at EPT Berlin. Nobody was seriously injured. We hope to re-start all events at 4pm local time. A police investigation is under way.
