| As you can probably tell, this was a pretty involved project. That being said, if you enjoyed watching and listening, it would be awesome if you could take half a second to rate/favorite; it helps other users find the video who might not have otherwise. Also, thanks to those of you who shared this with DeadMau5. He actually ended up watching it :) This was created only with the sounds from Minecraft's newly introduced "note blocks." Over the second half of the video, I also played the original "Ghosts n' Stuff" track quietly in the background, as I thought it made for a cool effect and a bit more varied sound. While some minor audio filters, along the lines of reverb and equalizer, were used in Vegas to enhance the sound of the note blocks, absolutely NO pitch adjustment nor autotune was used. The notes you hear in the video are all the actual notes from the game. Hence, a few might be missing due to the two octave limit. DeadMau5 also has a YouTube channel and plays Minecraft himself :) http://www.youtube.com/deadmau5 For those of you asking about the mods/texture packs used, the links can be found below. For the in game DeadMau5 paintings, I manually edited the art file in Photoshop. http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=55700 http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=73861 |
