| Detectives from the Silver Spring Investigative Section are investigating a mass theft incident that occurred at a 7-Eleven store in Silver Spring. On November 19, 2011 at approximately 11:23 p.m., Silver Spring officers responded to the 7-Eleven store located at 12257 Tech Road for the report of a mass theft. Preliminary investigation revealed that approximately 50 teens and young adults simultaneously entered the 7-Eleven and stole items, to include snacks and drinks. The police department is releasing video of this mass theft and asking for the public's assistance in identifying the individuals involved in this incident. Police are asking anyone who recognizes any of the individuals in this video to contact the 3rd District Investigative Section at 301-565-5835. Callers may remain anonymous. |
