| Sunday, March 25th, 2012 Rostov defender Kornel Salata scores overhead kick v Spartak Nalchik from the edge of the box Plenty of Russian football aficionados have contacted us today to say that Kornel Salata scored a better goal than Peter Crouch's wonder volley against Manchester City. Slovakian defender Kornel Salata was yet to score for the Russian side this season and before today had picked up more bookings and red cards than goals. The 27-year-old scored a brilliant golazo with an overhead kick from the edge of the box which beat Spartak Nalchik keeper Aleksandr Bulakov all ends up as it crashed in off the post.
